Misconduct with Weapons (Prohibited Possessor)

A.R.S. § 13-3102

In Arizona, if you have been previously convicted of a felony and have not had your gun rights restored, it is illegal for you to possess a firearm. The firearm does not have to belong to you.

A prohibited possessor charge is a Class 4 felony, with a range starting at 1-3.75 years in the Department of Corrections.

Misconduct involving weapons in Arizona can result in serious legal consequences. If facing such charges, it’s advisable to consult with the attorneys at South & Wright to navigate the complexities of the law and explore potential defenses or alternatives.
